10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. “In the Forest of Fairy Tales” Demo with Amy Krüger
Amy Krüger challenges glass and its traditional forms of expression. For Amy, glass art is about playfulness and magic. In her hands, the material becomes a story—her style is warm and humorous. The inspiration for her current sculptures comes from both childhood memories and Småland folklore.

Amy is a master glassblower at Orranäs Glassworks and has over 20 years of experience in glassblowing and sculpting. She trained at the Kosta Glass Center and at KADK, the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.
The Glassblower Café & Crêperie is open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. “A Tribute to Graal” Demo with Gregory Lastrapes
This year, the town of Orrefors celebrates its 300th anniversary. The Graal technique, once developed here, turns 110; Graal helped put Orrefors on the world map. How do we preserve a legacy when the context has changed? Can we view the technique as a language—one that is constantly evolving? Those who use, reinterpret, and develop the technique are responsible for its survival.
American glass artist Gregory Lastrapes has become captivated by the Graal technique and is passionate about its survival and development. During the day, he will be creating a Graal piece—a tribute to the past and the future.

The Glassblower Café & Crêperie is open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
